Iron Deficiency, Whippet

Ernst Florens Friedrich Chladni ['ɛʀnst' flo ː ʀɛns 'fʀi ː dʀɪç' kladnɪ] (Wittenberg, November 30, 1756 - Wroclaw, April 3, 1827) was a German physicist. He made a great contribution to modern physics in particular for his research work on vibrating plates and the calculation speed of sound through different gases, under the cymatics, theory, due to the Swiss scientist Hans Jenny, the effect on morphogenetic of sound waves. He was named in 1979 the asteroid 5053 Chladni and a lunar crater Chladni ....
Chladni plates:
the most famous studies of Ernst Chladni was the invention of a method to demonstrate the various modes of vibration of a surface mechanical form of regular or irregular. He, in the late eighteenth century, made some experiments on the effects of vibration imparted to glass plates covered with fine sand. This technique is to vibrate the plate with a violin bow, which are dotted with sand plates move away from areas of higher vibration (antinodes) who are curious figures (Chladni figures) in the vicinity of points of the slab are created when it is touched. At these points, called nodal points, the 'amplitude of vibration is virtually nothing. Chladni figures verified that corresponded to equal the same sounds, but that did not happen the opposite effect. Napoleon met his experiments which showed. (News drawn, too,,. On Wikipedia).

In the twentieth century, the Swiss scientist, Hans Jenny, measured, photographed, he experienced the effects of sound vibrations of all kinds on different materials and found that the forms created by the sound were predictable. For example, certain sounds are always the same figures, also found that the cheering sounds of ancient languages \u200b\u200blike Sanskrit or Hebrew, the figures were produced, which drew the symbol alphabet is pronounced ...
Among the various experiments, which he did, he saw that if you increase the amplitude, the movements became more rapid and turbulent and could even create small eruptions, where the actual material was hurled into the air. The forms, shapes and patterns of motion that appeared proved to be primarily a function of frequency, the extent and nature inherent to the various materials. Another interesting finding noted that the drawings, which otherwise would be formed, reminiscent of cell structures of living organisms.
Jenny is convinced that life is the result of specific vibration of each cell - in other words, each cell has its own sound, their note.
[Hans Jenny (Basel, 1904 - 1972) was a physician and naturalist considered the father of svizzero.È cymatics, the study of the shape of onde.Jenny was born in Basel, Switzerland. After completing his doctorate, he taught sc ... Ienzo Steiner School in Zurich for four years before starting the profession medica.Nel 1967, Jenny released her first book titled Cymatics: The study of wave phenomena. The second volume came out in 1972, the year of his death. These books collect written and photographic documentation on the effects of sound vibrations on fluids on powders, fluids and the mixtures. He concluded the treaty with this statement, "This is not a chaotic mess, but it is a form (pattern) orderly and dynamic."]

This page is a copy, in black and white, a sheet of notebook of a student of the Waldorf School of Physics. In fact, in sixth grade, about twelve years of age, in the Waldorf schools in the world, based on the pedagogy developed by Rudolf Steiner, the children have their first meeting with the various branches of physics. It starts from acoustic and therefore the study of sounds. The teaching of physics in such schools, always starts from real life (as indeed that of any other discipline!) And experiments before any kind of lecture; prepares the teacher, yes, the soul of the student body to accommodate the new learning, trying to arouse interest and curiosity about the specific knowledge that you are going to deal with, and this makes absolutely artistic, but which way it should be ignore for now the deal, which would bring us very interesting indeed in the details but spurning by the topic of what time you want to talk. How can dedurrre, at least for a while, reproduced from the page, which is a relationship, albeit simple, yet precise and detailed, the experience made real by the student who writes the same, the experiment relates to the discoveries of Chladni, which the drawings shown here are only a small part of what has been achieved in reality. The students, in fact, being "young" disciples not always, you know, are extremely comprehensive in their do .... someone draws a thing ... another someone else .... now I have only this "document" that I could copy from the notebook of schoolgirl ... but I have memories of many different shapes you were composing the plate covered with iron filings and compose their own composure and to create new shapes by geometrical characters much .... depending on the movement of the bow and the way in which its strings touching the edges of the slab ..... very significant experience that introduces children in the world "mysterious" forces of the universe! ... and only the next day experience, the children, returned to school after a night sleep and a nice, direct from the artist, which we could say here has the function of a conductor, reminiscent of the phases of the experiment performed the previous day, the same man who had also observed silently during its execution, and the comments themselves argue the laws of cause and effect and focused on making them. Now they, you might say, "play their instruments under the direction of the" master of orchestra!
And because long ago I had the pleasure of talking about figures of Chladni and studies of Jenni in fb, commenntoo a report here which I found very beautiful and what never consistent with the reality of the sound which our scholars hannno revealed: "Behold, the ancestral sense and the search for harmony which is in our souls! interesting. ;-)"
